This is the best book written about Steve, his life, his strengths and weaknesses. As an employee I witnessed some of the good and a little of the bad. On the grand scale Steve was a good guy, great leader and fantastic visionary. I highly recommend this read.

Loved this book on Steve Jobs. It has so much more depth then the issaacson book I read last year. It made Jobs out to be human after all. Great read.

Well balanced, honest, well told, just simply a fantastic book about a fantastic man. A must-read for anyone who is a fan of Mr. Jobs and/or Apple, Inc. Very inspirational, too.

After reading a number of articles and books about Steve Jobs, like many people, I thought the book, "Steve Jobs," would be the final chapter. While I respect Isaacson's authorized version, this book, "Becoming Steve Jobs" completes the story. I actually worked for Apple when Steve first came back, and it will truly be something I will treasure forever. Thank you for this outstanding, inside and honest piece of the life of one of history's most brilliant minds, and then greatest second act in the history of corporate America. Someday, I hope to come back to Apple, and help change the world. This book captures that spirit and the understanding of the man who helped us all see the future in a better way.

I read Walter Isaacson’s book and I feel this one is much more centered on providing an objective glimpse into a masterful man. The author allows us to see Steve’s weaknesses and strengths, but more importantly his growth.

Far better than Walter Isacson's biography. If I had to pick between these two , without doubt I would pick this one. It's written better, it's more intimate, it is more narrative. It helps that author was in the midst of it all over many years and personally knew people like Bill Gates and Steve's family.

This book was to much better than the first one written. There are two sides to ever story and different views of people in different settings. I'm glad to see that we got to see the "business" and "personal" side of Steve Job in this book.
  • So much better than the disappointing official autobiography

The authors actually know what they are writing about and get much more into the man behind the curtain. They don't rehash old stories but tell antidotes to fit the narrative of what Steve was really like without sugar coating anything.
