I gave up less than half way through the book. This might have made an acceptable short story, maybe even a nvella, but a book? NO! The writing is confused and disjointed. Two main male characters are used together and referred to by pronouns, so it isn't clear which character she meant. Also, it goes back and forth from past to present, again, not clear. Don't waste your time.

At first I thought it was an older brother and a younger woman. That he had lost his own child.

Dating your dead husband's father/grandfather of your child is just wrong...

Had to stop reading after chapter 2. The whole concept of being in love with your father in law and marrying him grossed me out.
