Swamp Sniper Jana DeLeon read online review & book description:

When only a crack shot will do…
In the two weeks CIA assassin Fortune Redding has been hiding in Sinful, Louisiana, she’s been harassed, poisoned, and shot at…and that was the easy part. But now, she’s about to face her biggest challenge since setting foot in the tiny bayou town.
When mayoral candidate Ted Williams is murdered, everyone is surprised. Ted was a blowhole and a Yankee, but those usually weren’t good reasons to kill someone. When Sinful Ladies Society leader Ida Belle becomes the lead suspect in the crime, Fortune knows she’s got to solve a murder and save one of the only friends she’s ever had.
But as the investigation begins, more and more secrets surface, and Fortune realizes that sometimes nothing is as it seems.

Awesome humorous mystery! I give this book 10 stars as the three are at it again! Ida Belle is running for mayor and Ted Williams, the other candidate , gets killed. The plot thickens as Ted is not who he seems. Let’s add in a few twists and the book has lots of action and I love reading these books! We have a romance starting to bloom between Fortune and Carter. A new character, Bobby Morel, has interest in Fortune but the surprises will keep you laughing and on your seat! Hopefully Gertie will get glasses and learn to drive a boat safely. I highly recommend this book and the series!

I just finished the 5th book in the series and really enjoyed them. I love books that make me laugh out loud to the point of tears and can't explain it to others because it makes my laugh harder so I can't talk. I was so hooked I bought and read the last three books in two days. Still laughing at the "misfortunes" of the characters. Can't wait for the next one.

I was literally laughing so loud reading this. It's the funniest of the series so far. I can't wait for Miss Fortune, Ida Belle, and Gertie's spy adventure. I'm looking forward with the development with Carter. Can't spill much about the story. All I can say is darn funny. Jana, you're one of my fav author.
