    random book for "athletes" that never made it.exercise is not a sport. if it takes that much effort you will never be the chosen one. keep on flipping tires and pulling rope. thats cool.

    This book is fantastic! However, this is a textbook style book meant to be carried to your local box and used. He even says the gym is your lab. So, buy it but buy the physical book.

    Buy this book!! This isn't just for elite athletes, it's a common sense approach to dealing with the aches and pains of life. As a professional traveler my hips were locked into a short and tight position from years of sitting in airplanes for hours at a time. Kelly has shown me that not only do I not have to accept this lack of mobility, I can address much of it myself. That is not to say it's easy - it to years to end up this way, it will take time and consistent effort to undo it. Thanks to Kelly I now have some self help tools to make it possible to undo the mess my lifestyle created. Buy the book!!!

    I have had this one day and have read the first 4 chapters and applied the techniques to my morning workout and killed it. I was an athlete with multiple state titles in wrestling and I have sadly learned I have horrible technique and was burning through my joints. This book is for everyone. It will save you a lot of pain!!!

    If you are human and move, read this book! From the weekend athlete to the coach, this book is invaluable. Kelly lays out both the overall theory and principles of movement, and goes into detail on specific issues and problems with clear illustrations and explanations. As a coach the mobility WOD has been a huge source of help, and this book is already proving its worth in warm ups, injury prevention, rehabilitation and better coaching. This is one I'm getting as an iBook and also the print version -- I want to have it handy all the time, but also use it in the gym and tag and highlight sections.

    This book changed everything and nothing. It's simplicity of setup and movement filled many gaps in our training, leaving our method(s) of teaching air tight. We found an instant change in our athletes when introducing the 'screwing in' mechanism, leaving them with 'ah-ha' looks on their faces. This book is simple to read, but rich in detail and instant application. It will fill gaps in your training that you never knew existed. It will provide you with a much better understanding of movement, positions, how to recognize what's gone wrong, or going wrong, and a clear idea of how to tidy it up. This is a must read for Head Strength coaches, all the way to novice trainees.

    I have been following Kelly Starrett and his mobility WOD blog from it's inception nearly three years ago. This book organizes all of his theories and correct drills into a user friendly format. Worth every penny. Great job Coach.
