The Following Sea Marsha Canham read online review & book description:

The Following Sea begins the same day The Iron Rose ends, with the Dante family sailing home to Pigeon Cay to treat their wounded and celebrate a massive attack and victory against the Spanish fleet. Along the way Gabriel Dante comes across a plague ship, which conscience dictates he must destroy, but after the first broadside strikes the floundering ship, he sees a young woman standing in the bow.

What follows is a story of the search for a legendary treasure ship, love, and action on the high seas as two strong pirate clans clash together on the Spanish Main.

  • Love theses books, but...

This one wasn't as good as the previous two. I didn't feel that Gabriel and Eva were working as a team against the bad guy. Gabriel just kind of bossed Eva around, since she was somewhat foolish, and the book was weak because of her character.
  • The best series EVER!

The heroine isn't irritating, the plot keeps you riveted, the romance in real, and the historical research is amazing. I can't say enough about these three books!!!! So good!!

I just finished reading all three of the Sea Wolf Trilogy books in about 4 days. I just couldn't put them down! I absolutely loved all of the history and factual information that Marsha included in the books. The only thing I'm concerned with is she left Jonas out. Marsha, please please please write a fourth book about Jonas. I just loved his huge personality. A book about him would be surely unforgettable!
  • Marsha doesn't disappoint

Marsha Canham has the remarkable ability to write stories that are so vivid they seem like movies in your mind. Perhaps that's because she is a devotee of the classic swashbuckling films of old. The Following Seas lives up to her previous pirate romances, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Here's hoping Marsha is back to writing and can give us poor readers more thrilling, well researched, well written adventures soon.
