Compel (Rae Wilder #2) Penelope Fletcher read online review & book description:

Book Two. Rae is falling into darkness. Grieving the death of her friend at the hand of dark magics, she is full of hate and vengeance. Tracking Devlin and his followers across demon territory, she is forced to turn to the local shifter pack for help. Tricked into rescuing the Pack Alpha’s daughters from the Temple, she learns there really is no place more dangerous than home. Breandan the fairy is done being patient. He wants Rae to stand by his side and refuses any claim they are not destined to be. Unsure, Rae denies him the right to have her, but will the urges of her nature and the strength of their bond allow her to walk away? Then there is Tomas, the alluring vampire who needs her help. But what exactly does he expect of her, and is the cost of helping him worth turning her back on life itself? Courted by the dark, and in love with the light, Rae must choose her path, or face the burden of Rupturing the world once more.

I should have seen it so much sooner! I got so wrapped up trying to follow everything. This book is so original and wonderful. I stayed up until one thirty in the morning reading the first one and this second book captured me just as much. I'm about to start the third. I'm addicted.

I absolutely adore this series I love every second of reading the books. Rae and Breandan are the ideal love but Tomas and Rae were so thrilling and forbidden. It made everything so much more exciting. Keep writing I love you!

Too much romance and action. Like the second matrix. But ends well and furthers the story

I loved it as much as the first! It was definitely my type of book! Love, romance, and adventure! The perfect combination! I must say this book as well as the first captivated me completely. I no most people think romantic fantasy books are maybe "lame" or "uncool" but for those of you who are still with me when I say they are simply wonderful then please read on! The book is good and hopefully does not let you down should you choose to read it. Now a days it is extremely rare to fine pure, true love! So hold on to it where you can! In the books people! It will always live there and all you have to do is look! . . . Listen to me, I sound like my mother! Haha and I'm only 14! Well enough of my nonsense and chatter! You want a review? Well here it is! The book was great and if you like my type of books you will think so too! By the way thanks for taking the time to read this. I appreciate it.

Great. Battle at Temple took a little too long to get through but still great.
  • Fire the Editor!

This series is wonderfully crafted. The story line is intriguing and consuming. But, with a misplaced/misspelled word every other page, the poor editing detracts from the joy of reading this author's well-thought-out adventure. So, my advice is for Penelope is to fire her editor and get someone to actually read what she's written and hasn't just used Word to do spell check. If you can get past this, you will come to enjoy this enthralling tale.
