When I read this book in 5th grade, it was difficult to understand Meg’s journey through life while having an ill family member, no less her sister. But now that I’m 23 and have experienced loss, re-reading this story is easier. It’s a beautiful story about how life is never what you think it will be, and how we adapt to change, and even move on in the face of bad things. I will always love this book and will read it over and over and over again.

When I was twelve I read this book in 3 days! I was having nose bleeds like Molly, so it made me worry a lot! This book is so good, well written, and from the stand point of a teenager going through some rough times! I would recommend this to any preteen or teenager who thinks their life is tough! Perfect summer read! I'm 45 and want to read it again! That's how good I think it is! Hope you decide to read it, you won't be disappointed!

I read this book when I was 13. More than a decade later I still think of this story often. It is a masterpiece:) I would give it 10 stars if I could.
