The Marine's Baby, Maybe Rogenna Brewer read online review & book description:

Falling in love is not what they're expecting...

Wife. Widow. Mother-to-be.

All Caitlin Calhoun wanted was to honor her late husband by having his baby. But thanks to an unfortunate mix-up, her baby's father is her husband's half-brother. Caitlin would like to keep that little secret between the two of them.

Marine. Uncle? Biological donor-daddy?

"Lucky" Luke Calhoun Jr. has always been unlucky in love. Family is the last thing the battle-hardened Marine expected to have––not with all the bad blood running through his own. But he's not the kind of man to turn his back on his child or the child's mother.

Can the unluckiest Calhoun convince Caitlin he's the real deal?

She's having his baby...and they're about to meet for the first time. Don't miss this bundle of joy––get your copy of The Marine's Baby, Maybe today!

Enjoyed the book so much. I have a deep respect for our military and the sacrifices the soldiers and their families make to keep us safe. This author gave me a better insight of duty, loss and loneliness. But there is always a bright side; the HEA was perfect!

  • Military love

When a military family member dies it’s always leaves a big hole in so many hearts. This book is an example of how hearts can heal with love. There will always be a hole and many thoughts of what if’s, but with love the heart can heal and have happy memories of the lost soldier. Very good book.

I really enjoyed the story. I finished it in about three hours. I couldn’t put it down. To me it was an original story, I enjoyed the characters, and I did share a tear, laughed out loud a couple times. Overall I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for some good reading
  • Lovely read

I enjoyed the story line and the suspense in getting to what we all know the outcome to be. There’s very little smut and just turned out to be a nice read that I had a hard time putting down.

Not too sure book was going to keep my Interest. With all the relations mentioned in the begining. But after several chapters the main characters came into view and I finished the book.

Being a military wife myself and going through our first pregnancy alone while my husband was deployed to Iraq, brought back a lot of memories and emotions. I am thankful for all of our military service men and women and the wives and husband that make sacrifices as well.

I love this story. My husband was a retired military man. We were blessed with over 61 years before he passed. This story touched my heart as unless you have a military connection, it is hard to understand. I still have friends who are widows of retirees. Thank you for writing such a touching story, so true to life.
  • Selfish characters

The book & writing were fine but I honestly did not like any of the characters except the other brother, Bruce. Everyone was whiny, selfish, and could use some therapy.
